In one of the most evocative places in Italy, between uncontaminated nature and hills of yellow wheat, Francesco and Sara met 15 years ago. Assisi in the province of Perugia in Umbria, stands on the slopes of Mount Subasio and is still protected by a robust wall. Sara, originally from Salerno, has organized a destination wedding to experience this special day surrounded by all the people dear to her.
The day before the wedding day, Francesco and Sara organized a Pizza Party, during which they celebrated and danced in the company of their guests, so as to spend as much time as possible with their guests in joy and lightness. During this party we had the opportunity to learn more about their story to get in touch with the spouses, which allowed us to tell the emotions that characterized Francesco and Sara’s wedding day in a more personal way.
The spouses pronounced their “Yes” within the walls of the beautiful cathedral of Assisi, also known as the cathedral of San Rufino, which is the main place of Catholic worship in the city of Assisi. The church stands in the square of the same name, originally a terrace created in Roman times, where fresh drinks, spritzes and aperitifs helped guests cool off before reaching the banquet location.
Antonello, Sara’s best friend and Francesco’s brother, as well as director of the Castle of Rosciano, helped the bride and groom organize their wedding in this beautiful historic home. Rosciano, declared a national monument, is a unique castle of its kind and enjoys an incredible position that offers a breathtaking view and magical atmosphere.
